Sorry that last one is a bit low resolution. Can you see the bald eagle? I swear it is there, in the tops of the trees. Open it up big and play Where's Waldo. It's evidence that we saw a bald eagle on Presidents' Day (appropriately enough). Luckily, we had brought binoculars and watched him roost up in the tree tops until he took off for a glorious flight. Anyway, we've decided snow-shoeing is great, but next time we're definitely going to make a try for cross-country skiing.

Adventure in Driggs
I have about twelve blog posts I've been meaning to write. Today it was between an adventure in Driggs or a blog post on our Rainbow Unicorn Cake Adventure. Driggs wins, but just because it is Presidents' Day related and that topic will grow cold if I wait much longer. So, without further ado, here is our adventuring:

Adorable. You two.
I spotted the bald eagle!
That rainbow unicorn cake sounds cool too! You'll definately have to post that one soon! It looked like a beautiful day to be out in Driggs.
That looks way fun! What are the chances of seeing a bald eagle on President's Day? What luck!
I see no eagle.
FAIL.
Becca, get some glasses!
It really is ridiculously small...but it's there. It's evidence, I say! Evidence!
WIN!
I went snowshoeing recently too, but I think x-country skiing is faster and therefore more fun!
How do you two manage to look so ridiculously cheerful in what appears to be bitter cold and gloom?
Jen, we're in denial. Maybe if we lived in sunny Texas we'd notice the difference. As it was, that had been the warmest day in probably five months!
Cobbman: I owe you an email. Give me til this weekend.
Driggs is always good for an adventure! I too need to see this Unicorn Rainbow cake you speak of.
yay! i love when you post. i have always thought snow shoeing may be fun. glad yall had a ball. miss you!
this defeats unicorn cake. is this in Teton Canyon?
Teton Canyon, yes. And it was beautiful. I really wanted to see a moose, but the bald eagle was pretty great.
Also, the Broulims in Driggs is gourmet! We found fresh cranberries, Japanese radishes, and huge barrels of King Crab legs just in the produce section. We bought a tub of macaroni and cheese from the deli for two bucks and it was cheesy Valhalla—an endless hunting ground of delicious and warm and orange.
But yes, Teton Canyon. The camera couldn't capture all the glory of it, or the crows that followed us the whole way to the end of the path.
Oh man! I miss snow.
