Wow. Beautiful. Love David's plaid shorts. Some of these shots look like Ireland.

Those are GORGEOUS pictures! Man, I bet that was an awesome trip. Now, tell me about that rock tower - did y'all build that? And what was the food? Cuz if that was haggis, it is more appetizing to look at than anticipated.

Wow, Wow, Wow. Lucky, Lucky, Lucky. Those were some great pics!

Jen, I totally built that rock tower. In mere seconds.

And yes, that was haggis, and yes, it was awesome, and yes, I would eat it a million times again.

Beautiful! I love David's shorts too, especially with those pulled up socks and hiking boots. I'm glad ya'll had such an awesome trip.
By the way, me, Madison and Faith watched Harry Potter and they were way excited to tell me all about that train their Uncle David and Aunt Emily sent them postcards of.

Oh my.. how amazingly amazing! And what is that transparent-people-in-the-woods shot? Totally looks like a scene from Star Trek, or Stargate... :-)

Beautiful, beautiful! Despite how much I love the Utah desert, our ancestors must have been somewhat disappointed when they left Scotland and got here.

Yea! Scotland is gorgeous (my favorite when I was there) and you two look like you're having so much fun! Did you have any deep fried mars bars there?

Scotland looks absolutely beautiful. I would go as far as to say enchanting and I don't think I've ever called anything enchanting. But I can't say I share you and Jen's love for that bowl of haggis. Maybe it's just pregnancy but I had to hurry and scroll past that picture for fear of throwing up. Trust me, it's a legitimate fear: I threw up twice the other night watching that show Hoarders.

Emily G said...

Sarah, you watch Hoarders?!! We knew it! David LOVES that show....he loves seeing a humongous hopeless mess and then cleaning it all out and throwing it away (which is good.....I'm about 1/100th of a hoarder....I can empathize).

Anyway, we watched probably four episodes in a row at my parents house and then had to spend the rest of the night throwing things away to appease Dave's obsession. He mentioned that his sisters would also love that program, and lo. You appear to.

Did you see that episode where that lady fed all those cats and she estimated there were about 21 in her house but she couldn't see them b/c her house was so messy? When animal control came and cleaned it out they discovered 76 cats out of which only 41 were still alive. I puked right in the middle of that episode and kept right on watching. Now that's good TV.

Emily G said...

Yes, that's the one that got us hooked! All those little cat skeletons were so gross! And I felt so bad for that old man.....crazy, crazy old people.

I thought it was interesting that they said the couple weren't hoarders after all, because it was so easy for them to have their garage disemboweled. Those cats man......I'm never going to own a cat. Ever. If I hoard anything, it's going to be holey pairs of jeans or old stuffed animals. Not something that is going to die in my house.

I had three thoughts while looking at your blog...here they are in no particular order...
1. Wow, Scotland is really pretty. Maybe someday when were are not XXX,XXX dollars in debt Aaron and I should go.
2. Wow, David is perfect for you. You look like you have known each other for eternity. I am so happy for you.
3. Do I add David's name to yours on my links list? This isn't really his blog, but now your married and I think you should join the realms of the "&s" on the right side of my blog...what to do what to do?

Miss you. Call me when you can sacrifice some new hubby time.
